The Designers

Paperbark Garden Design are Chris Zbrozyna BA Grad Dip LA. and his partner Siân McNeilly BA (Hons) Grad Dip LA, CMLI, Chartered Landscape Architect.

Chris’ initial interest in ‘gardening’ comes from working in the garden with his grandmother as a small boy and always having his own corner of garden to cultivate. Chris worked in the Gardening Team at the Botanic Gardens in Birmingham before going to Writtle Agricultural College.

Chris studied horticulture at Writtle College, Chelmsford and BA (Hons) Dip LA in Landscape Architecture at Leeds Metropolitan University. He has since lectured  the Leeds Garden Design and Landscape students at Leeds Metropolitan University on the Garden Art and Design degree course.

He has worked for landscape practices in Birmingham and Yorkshire and the Highways Agency

Siân graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with BA (Hons) Dip LA in Landscape Architecture and became Chartered in 1994. She worked for an environmental consultancy for over 14 years before leaving to work with Chris.

Chris is a member of the Society of Garden Designers and Siân is a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute.

We have broad professional experience of the landscape industry which ensures a top quality service.

We are both extremely keen gardeners with a consideration for wildlife and our environment.
