Spring Clematis flowering in June

These early flowering clematis needs support so they can either grow on a trellis or even better use another climber for support. Hydrangea petiolaris or Schizophragma integrifolium are great for this and tend to produce their creamy flowers slightly later, giving continuity. A must in garden design for incorporating on a north or east facing wall or fence where they will flourish.
