Early October at Harlow Carr

Back to News
Date: Sat 5th October 2013

Harlow Carr RHS Gardens in Harrogate, North Yorkshire are looking fantastic (as usual).

The colours in the main borders are vibrant and rich with purples, oranges and deep pinks. The height of some of the perennials is amazing and the insects are buzzing within the borders. A very striking plant at this time of year is the elegant climber Vitis Coignetiae. It is grown here up a brightly painted orange wall and also climbs way up into a mature oak tree within the gardens. A great day out.
